I am committed to providing high-quality services and delivering value to our clients. However, I understand that circumstances may arise where cancellations or refunds are necessary. This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which refunds and cancellations are processed for our services, including advisory sessions, workshops, public speaking engagements, and educational services.
1.1 Cancellation Policy for One-to-One Sessions
Clients may cancel or reschedule one-to-one advisory sessions up to 72 hours before the scheduled session without any cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 72 hours of the session will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. No-shows or cancellations made within 24 hours of the session are non-refundable.
1.2 Cancellation Policy for Board Advisory and Outcome-based Advisory
For board advisory and outcome-based advisory services, the client must provide written notice at least 14 days in advance of any cancellation or termination. A 50% cancellation fee of the remaining project fee applies, unless otherwise specified in relevant agreements. Refunds will be prorated based on the percentage of work completed at the time of cancellation. If notice is provided within 14 days, a 60% cancellation fee of the remaining project fee applies.
2.1 Cancellation Policy for Workshops
2.2 12-month Program - Revenue-focused
For multi-session programs or year-long engagements, the client may cancel the program with 30 days' written notice. Refunds will be issued on a prorated basis for unused portions of the program. If cancellation occurs within the first 30 days of the program, a full refund will be provided, minus any session or setup fees. After 30 days, refunds are prorated based on the sessions completed.
3.1 Keynote, Executive Briefings, Conferences, and Panels
For speaking engagements, clients must provide a written cancellation notice at least 30 days before the event for a full refund of any fees paid. Cancellations made between 30 and 14 days prior to the event will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations made within 14 days of the event are non-refundable.
3.2 Webinars
For virtual speaking engagements such as webinars, clients may cancel up to 7 days before the scheduled date for a full refund. Cancellations made within 7 days will incur a 50% cancellation fee. No refunds for cancellations within 48 hours of the event.
4.1 Guest Lectures and Short Courses
For guest lectures or short courses, clients may cancel up to 14 days before the scheduled date for a full refund. Cancellations made between 14 and 7 days before the scheduled date are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 7 days of the event are non-refundable.
4.2 Curriculum Advisory and Mentorship
Clients may cancel curriculum advisory services or mentorship engagements by providing 30 days' written notice. Refunds will be prorated based on the percentage of work completed at the time of cancellation. For long-term advisory engagements (3+ months), refunds will only apply to sessions or milestones not yet delivered.
If a session, workshop, or event is canceled or rescheduled due to circumstances beyond the control of Jørgen Østrem Sevild (such as natural disasters, government restrictions, or other unforeseen events), we will work with the client to reschedule the event or provide a refund. However, non-refundable deposits or fees for incurred expenses (such as travel or venue costs) may still apply.
